Use of Ontology Bridge

Users can log into https://bridge.ont.io/ to try Ontology Bridge. Currently, Ontology Bridge supports the MainNet and TestNet.

A step-by-step is provided below:

Open the Ontology Bridge website and click Connect Wallet in the upper right corner.

Click to connect a Non-EVM Wallet and an EVM Wallet respectively. Once connected, you should see your wallet address displayed.

Token Bridge

Select the asset to be exchanged and the type of asset to convert to. A Native or an OEP-4 token being exchanged for an ORC-20 token is displayed below:

Click the Swap button and the following confirmation box will pop up. Click Confirm to complete the exchange of Native or OEP-4 to ORC-20. If the exchange is successful, a successful exchange prompt box will pop up.

An ORC-20 token being exchanged for an OEP-4 token or Native token is displayed below:

This requires the Approve operation first. After the Approve is successful, the process is the same as the Native/OEP-4 token exchange for the ORC-20 token described above

When exchanging the ORC-20 token for the Native/OEP-4 token, the transaction fee of Approve will be paid by the address starting with 0x, and the transaction fee of Swap will be paid by the address starting with A.

ONG Transfer

Exchange of ONG between Ethereum account address and Ontology account address

ONG can exist in both the Ontology account address (address starting with A) and the Ethereum account address (address starting with 0x). The function of this is to facilitate users to transfer ONG in different account addresses to each other.

Proceed as follows:

Open the Ontology Bridge website and connect to the wallet

Click the ONG Transfer button as shown in the figure below

The following two pictures show ONG transfers between different types of addresses. Of course, transfers between the same types are also possible.

DO NOT use addresses from centralized exchanges as the receiving address, because centralized exchanges might not support parsing related events.

ONG Wrapper

WONG to ONG is just like WETH to ETH.

Proceed as follows:

Open the Ontology Bridge website and connect to the wallet

Click the ONG Wrapper button, enter an amount, and then click Wrap button

Click Confirm button in the pop-up window, and then confirm the transaction in the wallet pop-up window

After the Wrap is successful, click View History button to view transaction history, then click the transaction to view the relevant transaction details page
